Electronic medieval bagpipe 'Camelot'
redpipe camelot
Electronic medieval bagpipe redpipe camelot belongs to the model line of mouth-blown pipes. With removable show-drones and a blowpipe made of wood.
An electronic bagpipe for medieval bands. Of course you can also intonate Scottish, French, German and Spanish music on it.
No reed problems - unpack - switch on - play in any key and the pitch is adjustable in a wide range. The playing feel, fingering and sound are similar to an acoustic market bag. Other sounds and fingerings like GreatHighland, Smallpipe, Hümmelchen, Medival bagpipe, Renaissance or Gaita can be combined with simple switching.
The sound of the drones and chanter as well as bendings are controlled pneumatically by pressing the bag. The chanter has sensors in a row or the small finger hole of the right hand is offset to the right. The standard sensors are made of metal. If you want to feel the holes properly, choose the version with the OpticalTouch Chanter.
A blowpipe is mounted on the suede bag. The blowing and pressing works like an acoustic bagpipe. Air pressure and air consumption can be adjusted to your own needs.
Inside the bag is the air reservoir made of a synthetic membrane. The water vapour produced by the air you breathe is transported to the outside. Since the redpipe has only 20% of the air flow of an acoustic bagpipe, no further humidity regulation is necessary.
